Salary Guide for Nannies – Clarifications
For Corporate Collaborations
In collaborations with Hotels, Resorts, Event Planners, Yacht Agencies, and Travel Agencies, compensation is structured based on:
• The duration of the collaboration (e.g. season, event, trip)
• The number of Nannies required
• Any specialised skills or services needed
Payment terms are defined on a case-by-case basis, within a clear collaboration framework, ensuring transparency and consistency throughout the partnership.
Nanny Compensation Guide
Nanny compensation is determined by the type and duration of the placement (e.g. permanent, temporary, hourly, full-time, or part-time), as well as any specific agreements in place.Our goal is to ensure fair, clear and transparent working conditions for every collaboration, with respect for both parties.
Monthly Salary – Permanent / Long-Term Position
A fixed monthly salary, independent of the number of working days in each month
28 days of paid annual leave, proportionally adjusted for Part-Time positions
Official public holidays are paid in full as part of the monthly salary
If work is requested on an official public holiday and the Nanny agrees, it is compensated at double the daily rate or in accordance with the Nanny’s Price List
13 or 14 salaries per year ( depending on the specific contract and in accordance with Greek labour law )
(Including Christmas and Easter bonuses, as well as the annual leave allowance, in accordance with Greek law)
Sick leave is granted in accordance with applicable legislation and on a case-by-case basis (with or without medical certification, depending on duration)
In the event of changes to the weekly schedule initiated by the employer, the monthly salary remains unchanged, regardless of any potential reduction in total working hours
If working hours are reduced, a written agreement is made regarding how these hours will be compensated within the same month or through an alternative arrangement (e.g. babysitting, travel support, etc.), in order to maintain income stability for the Nanny
Schedule changes are discussed and confirmed in a timely manner, at least two weeks in advance, except in cases of emergency
The Nanny has the right to plan her holidays with timely notice and mutual agreement
The annual 28-day leave is scheduled jointly at least two months in advance, allowing both parties to organise their commitments accordingly
• It is not assumed that the Nanny will take leave only when the family is away
• The needs of both parties are taken into consideration, and mutually suitable dates are selected
• In the event of disagreement, Greek labour law applies
All agreements must be confirmed in writing (via email or chat) in order to avoid misunderstandings and potential disputes

A fixed monthly salary, independent of the number of working days in each month

If the Nanny does not work due to her own responsibility, the hours are not paid
If the Nanny does not work due to cancellation by the employer:
•With timely notice (at least 14 calendar days in advance):
50% of the agreed hours are paid, or an alternative arrangement for make-up hours may be agreed, if the Nanny wishes
• With late notice (less than 7 calendar days in advance):
The Nanny is paid in full for the agreed hours
• Without notice (e.g. early departure before the end of the scheduled working hours):
The Nanny is paid in full for those hours
If a minimum number of weekly hours has been agreed, these hours are paid in full if they are lost due to cancellation by the employer
All arrangements must be confirmed in writing (via email or chat) in order to avoid misunderstandings and ensure transparency
In cases of repeated cancellations without compensation or rescheduling, the collaboration is reviewed by our agency

• Leave is not a “perk” or a favour granted by the employer; it is a legal entitlement and must be scheduled with respect and fairness
• All agreements regarding compensation, schedules, and leave must be documented in writing (via email or chat) to ensure a smooth and transparent collaboration
•Should any changes or unforeseen circumstances arise, both parties are expected to communicate promptly and in good faith, in order to preserve a spirit of respect and mutual understanding
•The Nanny,like any employee, is entitled to dignified working conditions, financial security, and a predictable schedule
•The Nanny–family collaboration is based on professionalism, transparency, and respect for the boundaries and needs of both parties. Clear agreements are the foundation of a successful working relationship
•Payments are made via bank transfer or another mutually agreed and documented method
