The prospective client completes the enquiry form via our website. We then follow up with a phone call to gain a thorough understanding of the family’s needs and to create a personalised search profile.
Within a period of 2–4 weeks (depending on the case), the agency shortlists 1–3 suitable candidates.
If not already completed, each nanny undergoes a comprehensive evaluation, including:
- Review, update, and validation of CV and documentation
- Verification of Paediatric First Aid certification
- Criminal record check
- Social media presence review
- Telephone verification of references
- Personal interview
- Guidance and support before and throughout the first four weeks of collaboration with the family
Candidate profiles that match the search criteria are shared with the client only after each nanny has approved the submission of her details.
The client indicates which nanny or nannies they wish to contact.
Contact details are then shared—strictly with the candidates’ consent.
Communication with the nannies should take place within 48 hours, ensuring a smooth process and respect for their availability.
An online interview is conducted between the client and the nanny, serving as an initial introduction and exchange of impressions.
If there is a positive impression on both sides, an in-person meeting is scheduled—preferably with both parents present and without the children.
A trial period follows, allowing the nanny and children to become acquainted, with at least one parent present.
The duration and structure of the trial are agreed jointly, with a maximum length of two weeks.
Nanny compensation during the trial starts from €12/hour, depending on the nanny’s individual rate.
Before finalising the collaboration, the agency requests brief, constructive feedback from both parties to ensure mutual intent and suitability for continuation.
Once both parties agree to proceed, the agency prepares and facilitates the signing of the contract, completing the placement process with clarity and professionalism.
Oh Nanny Blue remains discreetly available to both the family and the nanny after the placement begins, offering support during the initial adjustment period and whenever needed.
