Documents & Collaboration Requirements for Candidate Nannies

At Oh Nanny Blue, we apply a carefully designed evaluation and screening system to ensure the quality, reliability, and safety of every collaboration.
Through this process, we guarantee that the nannies working with ONB meet the highest standards—providing reassurance both to families and to our corporate partners (Hotels, Resorts, Event Planners, Yacht Agencies).

* These documents are requested together with the Candidate Application, in order to assess initial suitability and schedule the first online interview.

  • A recent portrait-style photograph, which is integrated into the automatically generated CV created through our platform upon application
  • A copy or clear photograph of a valid ID card
  • A detailed and up-to-date CV (optional, if available — otherwise automatically generated from the application)
  • Links or screenshots from professional social media profiles (e.g. Facebook, Instagram), used strictly for identification purposes and public image assessment
(A professional and consistent digital presence is strongly recommended)
  • At least two valid references from previous employers, including phone number, email, and/or written reference

Once these materials are received, our team reviews the candidate’s profile and schedules the first online interview.

*If the candidate successfully passes the first evaluation stage, she is asked to submit the following documents to complete the screening process and activate her profile.

Mandatory Documents:

  • An up-to-date Criminal Record Certificate issued via Gov.gr (valid for 3 months) or an equivalent police check from abroad
  • DBS Check (optional; mainly relevant for candidates who have worked in the UK or internationally)
  • Diplomas, degrees, or certifications that substantiate the qualifications, training, and experience stated in the candidate’s CV
  • Paediatric & Infant First Aid Certificate (ideally issued within the last 2 years)
  • Medical certificate from a general practitioner or public authority confirming the absence of contagious diseases
  • Signed declaration stating that no criminal proceedings related to minors are pending
  • Short introductory video (optional): the nanny presents herself, outlines her experience and pedagogical approach (maximum duration: 1 minute)
  • Self-assessment form, in which the nanny briefly describes her approach to key areas such as sleep, nutrition, discipline, creative engagement, and communication with parents

Note

The more of the above documents a Nanny provides, the stronger and more credible her profile becomes—significantly increasing her appeal to families and corporate partners who place high value on quality, consistency, and professionalism.
